Now you can help end hunger just by taking a trip. KGUN 9 On Your Side’s April Madison explains. “One parking company at the Tucson airport is stepping up to help those in need.” FastPark & Relax has teamed up with the community food bank to help fight hunger in Tucson. Michael Kotch: “Each can of food they bring in, maximum of three, they’ll get a dollar off each can. And they can use that towards their parking.” And every little bit helps, especially when airport fees are at their highest. So with the average daily price of more than four dollars here at FastPark & Relax, this promotion could knock that down to just over a dollar a day, and it’s all for a good cause. “The more people we can help, definitely the better.” The Tucson Community Food Bank needs all the help they can get. The non-profit organization tells KGUN 9 more families are asking for help, but donations are dwindling. FastPark & Relax is accepting food donations through the end of the month. 00:13:53
